Surviving Mercury Retrograde

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury Retrograde is back. I know, it doesn't seem a minute since it was last here, right? But it's back and this time for quite some time from August 4th to 27th - so buckle up buttercups we're in for a ride.

But in all seriousness, what should we do during Mercury retrograde?

Shall we just stay home and hide? Kidding...maybe not kidding!

For most of us hiding and not making decisions isn't really an option and shutting down all forms of communication and business is impossible.

So, what can we do?

The experts of all things Mercury Retrograde tell us essentially we need to exercise extra caution in all we do. Which honestly we probably should all do regardless of our friends the planets. Think twice before replying in anger to an email or Whatsapp, check you're copying in the right people, does something look too good to be true, what is your gut instinct telling you about someone or something?

If you do need to make important decisions, can you find a way of buying yourself more time? If you can't put it off, do even more due diligence than normal and ask a lot more questions. Be extra curious and mindful in all you do.

Instead of just buying in to all the fear and catastrophising we've become used to in this time, why don't we try and look at it differently? Try and look at it as something here to help.

There are positives to Mercury Retrograde too and its tendency to make us look back in the past. We may reconnect with people and old friends, rediscover a lapsed hobby, and more generally evaluate feelings about relationships, career, your goals and well LIFE!

Instead of buying into the fear and frenzy, which we've become accustomed to, let's try and look at this time differently. Choose to look at it through a different lens and see it as a really good time to just slow down and re-look at everything in our world. And we should probably all think through what we say more before we say it anyway!

May the force and universe be with you friends.
