With Dressarte, she focuses on timeless designs produced in a more responsible way.
Her work sits at the intersection of style, entrepreneurship, and wellbeing, with a mission to help people feel more confident, aligned, and empowered through what they wear.

Build from something deeply personal
I didn’t start TrueSelfStylist or Dressarte because I spotted a market opportunity or wanted to follow a trend. I started them because of a very personal frustration I experienced myself. Like many women, I often felt overwhelmed by fashion – there were too many trends to follow, too many clothes to manage, and too much pressure to “look perfect.”
The industry felt disconnected from real life and values. I wanted to create a solution that made style simpler, more conscious, and truly reflective of who someone is.
TrueSelfStylist allows women and men to discover their style archetype, organise their wardrobe, and plan outfits with intention, while Dressarte focuses on timeless, sustainable pieces made to order.
Building my businesses from a personal need gave me more than a product; it gave me clarity, resilience, and a sense of purpose that guided every decision.
When challenges arose – whether in product development, funding, or building a team – I could always return to that original need and remind myself why it mattered. That personal connection has been the anchor through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, helping me stay motivated and focused on creating meaningful, lasting solutions.

Your wellbeing is part of your strategy
In the early days of building my businesses, I often equated success with being constantly busy. Long hours, endless meetings, and sleepless nights felt like part of the entrepreneur’s journey. But I quickly realised that neglecting my own energy, health, and wellbeing only led to exhaustion, poor decisions, and creative burnout.
Over the years, I’ve learned that caring for myself is not a luxury – it’s a vital part of running a business effectively.
I’ve developed simple rituals that keep me grounded and focused: quiet mornings to set intentions, nourishing meals that fuel my body, movement to clear my mind, and moments of self-care that help me recharge. These practices allow me to think clearly, stay creative, and approach challenges with calm and perspective.
I’ve also learned to embrace flexibility, knowing that some days won’t go according to plan, and that’s okay.
Integrating wellbeing into my strategy has transformed the way I lead, making me more present, resilient, and effective – not just for myself, but for my team, my clients, and my community.

Choose alignment over perfection
For a long time, I believed I needed the perfect timing, the perfect product, or the perfect plan to move forward. I would wait, analyse, and hesitate, thinking everything had to be flawless before taking action. But the truth is that perfection rarely exists, and waiting for it can lead to stagnation.
What shifted my perspective was realising that alignment matters far more than perfection. When I make choices that reflect my values, my lifestyle, and my vision, I feel confident and grounded, even when things are uncertain.
Alignment gives clarity: I can prioritise what truly matters and let go of what doesn’t. It allows me to take risks with purpose, knowing that each step is a reflection of who I am and what I want to create.
Confidence doesn’t come from having all the answers; it comes from moving forward authentically. Whether it’s deciding on a new product, a partnership, or a feature in the TrueSelfStylist app, I now focus on whether it feels right internally rather than if it appears perfect externally.
That shift has been transformative, both personally and professionally.
