Dubai Drama Group (DDG), in partnership with Theatre by QE2, is bringing all the laughs and nostalgia this March with its production of Father Ted.


Expect a fast-paced comic evening inspired by the legendary TV series created by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews, and produced by Hat Trick Productions.


Audiences will meet characters and follow the trials and tribulations of daily life in rural Ireland, brought vividly to life with sharp wit and irreverent humour.


The DDG production captures the spirit of the original series, offering a lively, quick-witted show packed with laughs from start to finish.


The production is directed by James Mitchinson, who delivered an outstanding and critically praised adaptation of another popular TV series, Blackadder, for Dubai Drama Group in 2024. Under his creative leadership, audiences are guaranteed a memorable night of entertainment.


Father Ted at Theatre by Q2 will star Irish actress Aileen Kelly known for leading roles in Dancing at Lughnasa, The Beauty Queen of Leenane and Faith Healer to name but a few.
