Best Setting Powder for Every Skin Tone: Kosas Expands Its Cloud Set Loose Powder Range

Setting powder has a reputation for leaving skin flat, dry or cakey. Kosas wants to change that. The Los Angeles clean beauty brand has expanded its Cloud Set Loose Powder with four new shades, so more skin tones can set makeup without losing their natural glow.

The ultra-fine, feather-light powder can be used for setting or baking and lasts up to 12 hours. It blurs the look of pores and fine lines, controls shine and leaves an airbrushed finish without looking powdery. Bamboo stem extract helps absorb excess oil. The formula is talc-free, silicone-free, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, and it’s suitable for sensitive and blemish-prone skin.

The skin-tone range now includes five shades, from very fair to deep: Translucent Sway, Fluttery, Toasty and Cozy, plus the existing Velvety. Three brightening shades, Candy, Buttery and Peachy, use colour theory to help neutralise dullness and pigmentation.

In the brand’s consumer study of 30 participants, every one said it was the best loose setting powder they had ever used.
