New Ramen Restaurant in Dubai // Tora Tora Brings Japanese Street Food to Jumeirah

Ramen fans in Jumeirah, take note. Tora Tora, a modern Japanese ramen house inspired by the energy of Japanese street culture, is coming to the new First Avenue Mall in Jumeirah 2. It promises to be much more than somewhere to grab a quick bowl.

What’s on the menu

Freshly made ramen is at the heart of Tora Tora. The bowls are built on carefully developed recipes and quality ingredients, under the guidance of consultant chef Hironori Gouda. Alongside the ramen, expect Japanese street-food favourites, small plates and playful drinks and desserts. The full menu is still under wraps, but the brand promises food that feels approachable and generous.

The name

Tora means “tiger” in Japanese, and the name reflects the confidence behind the concept. That bold spirit runs through everything, from the brand’s visual identity to the buzz around the kitchen.

Designed around the kitchen

The interiors are by Australian design studio mckimm, and the layout is built around the shape of the Tora Tora brandmark. An interactive open kitchen sits at the centre of the restaurant, bringing diners closer to the craft that goes into every bowl. Traditional Japanese references meet contemporary design and bespoke details, so it’s somewhere you’ll want to linger as well as eat.

No reservations needed

In true street-food style, Tora Tora is walk-in only. There’s no need to plan ahead. Just drop in when the craving hits, whether for a quick lunch, a casual dinner or a lively night out with friends.

The opening date and full menu will be announced soon. Follow Tora Tora on Instagram for updates as it gets closer to opening.
