Wild Wadi Dubai Is Back // What’s New at the Waterpark This Season

Cooler weather in Dubai means waterpark season is here, and one of the city’s best-loved attractions is back. Wild Wadi Waterpark reopens tomorrow, Sunday 1 November, for a new season of thrills, family fun and days out with views of the Burj Al Arab.

The reopening is part of Truly Amazing, Dubai Holding Entertainment’s first annual entertainment season. For many residents, it’s also a welcome dose of nostalgia. Wild Wadi was Dubai’s original waterpark, and plenty of families who grew up splashing here now bring their own children.

The rides

There are 30 rides and attractions to explore. Thrill-seekers can take on the legendary Jumeirah Sceirah, a 120-metre slide that remains a rite of passage, or brave the twists and turns of Tantrum Alley. Burj Surj gets the whole family involved, while the much-loved wave pool and the Juha’s Journey lazy river offer a gentler pace. There’s also the FlowRider for a simulated surf session.

Weekend fun

Weekends bring extra energy, with live entertainment and activities for children and families throughout the park.

What to eat

New this season is Surf & Tacos, which serves authentic Mexican food. Regular favourites are also back, including Surfer’s Burgers, Firecrust Pizza, Dhow & Lagoon Kitchen for shawarma and salads, and Wave View Café for a quick snack.

More to come

There will be plenty of reasons to come back in the coming weeks. Seasonal celebrations are planned for World Children’s Week, Movember and the festive season. For a more relaxed day, VIP cabanas for up to eight people come with table service, towels, chilled drinks and fast-pass access.

Tickets start from AED 149. Find out more and book at wildwadi.com.
