Thursday Plans, Sorted: Tapas & Tipples at The Strand Palm Jumeirah

Looking for a new go-to for Thursday nights? The Strand, the Mediterranean-inspired kitchen and cocktail bar at Palm Views West, has launched Tapas & Tipples, an easy, sociable evening made for catching up with friends.

Every Thursday from 5pm, AED 385 gets you four tapas dishes, a bottle of house wine and a dessert to share. Even better, ladies enjoy two complimentary cocktails with every Tapas & Tipples offer.

The menu spans seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, all made for sharing. Sushi lovers will want the No Nori Spicy Tuna & Salmon Maki Roll, topped with spicy mayo and crispy sweet potato strings, or the Classic California Maki Roll. The Tuna Tartar with avocado, pickled pink radish and house-made corn chips is a fresh, zingy start, while the Signature Seared Salmon comes with a creamy miso sauce.

Prefer Mediterranean classics? Try the Baked Greek Feta with spiced tomatoes and peppers, Jumbo Prawns grilled with chimichurri, Mediterranean Fish Tacos with tzatziki, or Crispy Spanish Calamari with black garlic aioli. For something heartier, the Croquetas de Chorizo are made with chicken chorizo and served with chimichurri and chilli.

Your bottle can be house red, white or rosé, or upgrade to selected premium wines for an extra AED 75. Save room for dessert: choose from Carrot Cake, Cheesecake San Sebastian or a house-made sorbet of the day.

Cocktail fans can opt for unlimited cocktails at AED 159 per person. Highlights include a Gin Paloma, Vesper and Bramble, plus a Passionfruit Martini, Berry Cosmo, Spicy Mango Margarita and Mexican Raspberry Mule.

With its relaxed setting and great value, Tapas & Tipples works just as well for an after-work catch-up as it does for a casual date night or a long, lazy evening around the table.
