When Brand Partnerships just *Work*

We love to see our favourite brands collaborate with each other to create unique and exciting activations. There is a chance for them to explore what the other can offer and create visibility in a space they could not before. Some successful brand partnerships that we love are Adidas with Ravi’s and Saint Honoré Paris with Dakar Rally

Adidas X Ravi’s

The sportswear brand Adidas partnered with Ravi Restaurant, a family-owned Pakistani chain that has been running the Dubai for more than 40 years for the launch of the limited-edition collection that was beloved by fans of the homegrown restaurant. This collaboration pulled at the heartstrings of the local community all the while giving them something that had elements of approachable while celebrating the history of the brand through the use of colours and design aesthetics.

Loewe X Spirited Away

The Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe which specialises in leather goods, clothing, perfumes and other fashion accessories partnered with Studio Ghibli for their spring 2022 collection around the same time as the movie premier of How Do You Live?, and a Ghibli theme park. The collaboration issued with Hayao Miyazaki's animation studio was inspired by the all-time classic Spirited Away for an impressive capsule collection which includes accessible wearables, like graphic tees and hoodies, along with unique accessories that are almost collectables for art and fashion lovers.

Waitrose x NUAIMI

Waitrose bag

Waitrose revisited its collaborations with Huda Al Nuaimi to create the second edition of an eco-luxe bag reusable shopping bag created by the renowned Emirati print designer. The bag is inspired by Dubai’s iconic architecture and desert landscape. The illustration features hot air balloons set against landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future, as well as the UAE’s rolling sand dunes where an Emirati family can be seen picnicking while camels trek and a vintage Land Rover embarks on an expedition in the far distance.

Saint Honoré Paris X Dakar Rally

The 45th edition of the Dakar Rally saw the support of an esteemed French Horology Brand - Saint Honoré Paris, for the most ambitious off-road rally that took place in Saudi Arabia. Kicking off from the Red Sea in Jeddah on December 31st, 2022, the partnership brought together the ethos of precision, technical innovation, and integrity, which are paramount in watchmaking and car rallies, making this association a perfect match.
