Other Women's Jobs // A Day In The Life & Career Of Eilidh Maccallum

NAME: Eilidh Maccallum

AGE: 34

INSTAGRAM HANDLE: @suitedbootedofficial

JOB TITLE: Brand Manager, Suited & Booted

MOVED TO THE UAE IN: 2014

Eilidh Maccallum is the Brand Manager at Suited & Booted, a Dubai-born luxury tailoring house redefining what modern bespoke can mean. Originally from Scotland, where she spent seven years in fashion retail before moving to Dubai in 2014, she brings a mix of industry knowledge and genuine passion for style and elevated client experience.

Over the past five years, Eilidh has supported in growing the Suited & Booted brand - most notably growing its women’s tailoring line, ensuring that the same craftsmanship and attention to detail trusted by male clients extends seamlessly into female wardrobes. Her days are a blend of client fittings, overseeing marketing and social strategy and partner collaborations.

Today she shares a typical day in her life and career with us:

6AM:

I’m an early riser and wake around 5.30AM. Getting a short walk in first thing is an important part of my daily routine, it really clears my head and sets the tone for the day ahead.

9AM:

By 9, I’m at our Dubai showroom getting set up for the day. I review my diary for upcoming client visits and check in with our tailoring team to prepare for our fittings. Each client’s needs are unique - whether it’s a sharp boardroom suit, a relaxed linen set, or a bespoke wedding tuxedo, our goal at Suited & Booted is to make every piece feel personal and effortless.

10AM:

Team meeting. Collaboration is at the core of what we do, and we prioritise time to share ideas, sharpen upcoming plans, and stay focused on both company and individual goals.

2PM:

I’m often out of the shop in the afternoon - whether that’s meeting new clients for consultations, visiting our brand partners, or exploring new collaborations. As Suited & Booted continues to expand across the Middle East, these interactions help us nourish and build stronger relationships.

4PM:

Marketing meeting. Time to sit down with our marketing team to refine next week’s social media calendar and finalise creative concepts for the next monthly shoot. With major regional expansion ahead, our marketing strategy ensures that the Suited & Booted identity and story remain consistent, recognisable, and memorable - wherever clients encounter us.

6PM:

Evenings are prime fitting time in-store. After their workday, our clients - whether they’re CEOs, entrepreneurs, or future grooms - come in ready to focus on getting their look just right. It’s about the small decisions: the fabric, the cut, the finishing touches that make a suit work in every setting. With women bespoke becoming such a strong part of what we do, I’m also fitting an increasing number of tailored power suits and elevated outfits for our female clients.

8PM:

Home from work and a bit of personal time. I am religious about my skincare routine and use this time in the evening to unwind before heading to bed early for a recharge to do it all again tomorrow!
