If it's good enough for Kendall Jenner and Rihanna it's good enough for us.
Tipped by Marie Claire to be one of 2026's standout prints, Tiger Print is everywhere from the runways to the high street, and it seems like beauty is also in on the trend, with Google searches for "tiger nails" up by 48% worldwide over the past year.
We asked Fresha beauty expert Annabelle Taurua why now, why tiger and how on earth do we wear it...
Why are Tiger Nails predicted to be a hit?
Annabelle: Despite its bold reputation, tiger print nails are surprisingly wearable. It works beautifully on nails because the lines are fluid rather than harsh. When paired with neutral tones such as soft browns, black or beige, it feels more elevated than loud and makes it a super wearable print. This balance is often what turns a fashion moment into a mainstream nail trend.
Much like leopard print, tiger print offers something more interesting than a plain nude, without the need to commit to bright colours and bulky designs. Trends that allow customers to play with patterns, whilst keeping shade wearable for the everyday, is often where we will see trends really take off.
How are people wearing the tiger look?
Annabelle: Many clients are starting small before committing to a full tiger print set. A full animal print nail can be daunting for some, so accent nails or tiger print French tips are a popular entry point. It allows customers to dip their toes into the trend in a way that feels most authentic to them and their style. Keeping nails short to mid-length and sticking to classic shapes also helps the look feel polished and wearable.
