Other Women's Jobs // A Day In The Life & Career Of Tatiana Kuznechenkova

NAME: Tatiana Kuznechenkova

AGE: 41

INSTAGRAM HANDLE: @doctor.tatyana

JOB TITLE: Specialist Dermatologist at Hortmans

MOVED TO THE UAE IN: 2012

Tatiana holds a PhD in Dermatovenerology and has dedicated her career to advancing both aesthetic and clinical dermatology. With over 13 years of experience, she specializes in skin quality, regenerative medicine, and minimally invasive procedures, combining science, precision, and artistry to achieve outcomes that are effective yet completely natural and “untraceable”.

Her expertise also extends to lasers and energy-based devices, where she designs and implements unique treatment protocols tailored to patient needs — from restoring skin health and improving texture, to addressing complex conditions safely and effectively. Tatiana is especially passionate about integrating advanced technologies with evidence-based dermatology to deliver results that are not only visible, but also long-lasting and harmonious, enhancing beauty while preserving individuality.

Today Tatiana shares with us a day in her life and career:

6:00 AM

My day starts early at 6:00. I head to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch boxes for my twin daughters, help them get ready for school, and make sure everything is packed. By 7:00, we are outside waiting for the school bus.

7:30 AM

Depending on the day, I’ll do stretching, Pilates, or a treadmill workout.

8:30 AM

By 8:30, it’s finally my breakfast time. I enjoy my matcha, which gives me steady energy throughout the day. While I sip, I go through my schedule, emails, messengers, and social media. It’s my moment to catch up with patients, check messages from colleagues, and engage with my online community.

10:00 AM

I’m at the clinic, ready to start consultations. Each patient brings a unique story: someone may be struggling with acne or pigmentation, while another seeks subtle rejuvenation or facial balancing. During consultations, I always take time to listen, assess their skin and anatomy, and design a treatment plan that feels safe, realistic, and natural. My guiding principle is untraceable aesthetics — results that enhance, not change.

11:00 AM – Procedures & Treatments

Late mornings are dedicated to procedures. A typical block of treatments might include:

  • Laser therapies for acne, redness, scars, or pigmentation.

  • Injectables like Belotero fillers for natural contouring and Radiesse for collagen stimulation.

  • Energy-based devices such as Ultherapy Prime for lifting and tightening.

I often combine these approaches into unique treatment protocols, tailored to each patient’s needs and long-term skin health. This is where science and artistry meet in my practice.

1:00 PM Lunch time

After an intense morning, I pause for a light lunch. When I can, I call home to check in on my family.

2:00 PM

Afternoons are usually for longer, more complex cases. These include patients with scars, pigmentation issues, or skin laxity who require multi-step, combination treatments. For example, I may integrate RF microneedling, biostimulators, and lasers into one protocol. I especially love these sessions because they challenge me to problem-solve creatively. I believe that every case — no matter how difficult — has a path forward.

4:30 PM – Training & Education

As a Trainer and Speaker, I dedicate part of my week to training other doctors. This might be a workshop, a lecture, or even an online session with colleagues from abroad.

6:00 PM

Before leaving the clinic, I carefully review the day’s patient notes, check on follow-ups, and reflect on outcomes. I always analyse and refine my protocols because I believe medicine is a field of constant growth — every patient teaches me something new.

7:00 PM – Family Time

Evenings are reserved for my family. Once I’m home, I step out of “doctor mode” and into “mom mode.” We have dinner together, talk about the day, and enjoy some playtime before starting bedtime routines.

9:00 PM

After the house is quiet, I often return to professional work: preparing upcoming conference presentations or reviewing research, consensus collaborations and publication projects with colleagues. And sometimes, I create content for my Instagram, where I blend professional insights with personal moments to stay authentic and connected.

11:00 PM

I end the day with a simple ritual: skincare and reading
