As part of its expansion plans in the Middle East and Africa, lifestyle fashion brand MULU has revealed the opening of a new office in Dubai.
Previously known as Kanessa, the fashion brand began its e-commerce operations in 2018 in The Netherlands. Globally, the brand is sold in Europe and North America. In response to the growing demand for plus-size fashion across the Middle East and Africa, MULU has replanted its roots in Dubai.
In Dubai, MULU will be able to expand its regional and local presence for its operations on the ground. As part of its expansion plans, MULU plans to open a retail store in Dubai this year.
Most recent data shows, 31 per cent of UAE women are plus size or above size L, and 42 per cent of Saudi women are. Clothing that fits plus-sized women well is, however, difficult to find in the region. To solve this exact problem, MULU was created in Europe as a brand that caters entirely to plus-size women, and now the brand is extending its reach to women in the Middle East and Africa.
Clothing sizes range from M to 7XL at MULU. With the brand, plus-size women are empowered to wear what they want without feeling compelled to follow society's trends. The MULU brand encourages women to wear what they want.
