Mattel Names Maluma, Supercar Blondie and Robert Lewandowski as Its First-Ever Hot Wheels Class of Legends

Hot Wheels has launched Challenge Accepted, a new global campaign celebrating the mindset that drives people to take risks and chase their passions, fronted by three global icons forming the brand's inaugural Class of Legends: music superstar Maluma, automotive content creator and entrepreneur Supercar Blondie, and football champion Robert Lewandowski.
Each has co-designed a collector-worthy die-cast car for the 2026 Global Legends Collection, now available for pre-order on Mattel Creations. Maluma's Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 channels his Colombian roots, Supercar Blondie's Lamborghini Huracán "Lucy" immortalises her first supercar, and Lewandowski's '97 Porsche 911 GT1 reflects his relentless pursuit of excellence.
"The challenger spirit is universal, and Maluma, Supercar Blondie and Robert Lewandowski each embody it in a completely unique way," says Alex Ries, VP, Global Head of Hot Wheels at Mattel.
Throughout September, fans can follow a three-part content series exploring each Legend's story, alongside an immersive pop-up experience in Venice, California. Hot Wheels is also donating $100,000 to Maluma's foundation, El Arte de los Sueños, supporting arts programmes for vulnerable youth in Colombia.
