Boom & Mellow

In a city where retail has transformed dramatically over the past two decades, Boom & Mellow has stuck to a simple idea: shopping should be about discovery.

Founded in Dubai in 2005 by entrepreneur Sima Barazi, Boom & Mellow was built as an alternative to conventional retail, bringing together independent designers and pieces customers wouldn't find elsewhere. Today it's a multi-brand concept store offering curated fine jewellery, fashion, accessories, gifts, homeware and lifestyle finds, with names like Kismet by Milka, Sarah's Bag, Lito and Anton Heunis sitting alongside constantly rotating new discoveries.

Rather than following a seasonal retail model, the stores are designed for browsing, letting customers move between categories in one destination. That approach has built a loyal following over more than two decades, with many longtime customers now introducing their daughters to the store.

From its first Mall of the Emirates store in 2005, Boom & Mellow has grown into boutiques at Town Centre Jumeirah and The Springs Souk, plus an online platform - remaining an independent, homegrown business as Dubai's retail scene evolved around it.
