Happy 20th Birthday Souk Madinat Jumeirah

Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a charming destination home to culture, shopping and dining within a traditional Arabian setting, celebrates its 20th anniversary this October.

One of the city’s most prominent destinations within the expansive Madinat Jumeirah Resort, the Souk has captivated residents and visitors for two decades with its distinct atmosphere and architecture, renowned dining and entertainment experiences and breathtaking views of the iconic Burj Al Arab.

To celebrate the milestone, the Souk is hosting dynamic cultural showcases every Saturday and Sunday starting this month until November. Visitors will be transported to a bygone era as traditional drummers create a lively atmosphere that echoes through the bazaar halls. Visitors can take pictures with a cultural symbol of the UAE, the mighty falcon, see basket weavers and fishnet makers preserve their cultural heritage through age-old crafts and challenge each other to traditional games for a touch of Emirati nostalgia.
