Disney's D23 Delivers a Blockbuster Preview of What's Next

Disney kicked off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim with a showcase built to remind the world just how deep its fandom runs. CEO Josh D'Amaro opened the night by pointing to Disney's four billion fans worldwide, before handing the stage over to a parade of first looks spanning the company's entire universe.

Pixar unveiled early footage from Incredibles 3 and Coco 2, alongside a brand-new original, Ghost Market. Marvel brought Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans out for a fresh look at Avengers: Doomsday, plus cast reveals for an untitled X-Men film. Lucasfilm teased Ahsoka's second season and Star Wars: Starfighter, with Ryan Gosling stepping into the galaxy. Walt Disney Animation Studios confirmed Zootopia 3 is in development, alongside new details on Hexed and Frozen 3.

Beyond film, Disney extended its Formula 1 partnership through 2028, announced a U.S. tour for the Mundo Pixar Experience, and previewed West End's upcoming Greatest Showman stage adaptation.

With three days of showcases, exclusive merchandise and behind-the-scenes access, D23 2026 reaffirmed why Disney fandom remains, as D'Amaro put it, "a connection with more than four billion fans."
