Design Fest by BYL Events Makes Its Debut at Alserkal Avenue With Region’s Hottest Creatives

A vibrant celebration of creativity is set to unfold this December as BYL Events launches the first edition of Design Fest, a three-day immersive pop-up taking place from 5–7 December at the iconic Alserkal Avenue.
Designed as a destination for discovery, and storytelling, Design Fest brings together a hand curated lineup of regional talent across fashion, jewelry, homeware, accessories, gourmet concepts, and artistic installations.
Design Fest continues BYL’s legacy of curating thoughtful, experience-led platforms that champion regional creative talent. Visitors will explore a curated selection of designers and artisans whose work reflects the diversity and innovation shaping contemporary design across the Middle East. This edition also marks the highly anticipated launch of two new brands, with Maison Mida introducing its prêt-à-porter line and RYGY debuting its swimwear brand exclusively at the festival. Alongside them, a rich ensemble of designers and creatives which include House of K, Vitelli Design, Patterns, Rock N Shine, Subashini Heels, Tuff Edition, Kool Kaos, Angel Sunglasses, Okkia Sunglasses, Ibty’s Artwork, Little Piece of Cairo, Maison Mida, Catcha Matcha by The Broth Lab, Altawleh, Bellamun Cosmetics, Love Letters, and Show Off.
Founded in 2020 by Randa Armanazi, Jana Obeid, and Maha Kazan, BYL Events has grown from the intimate بحبك يا لبنان (“I Love Lebanon”) exhibition created to support Lebanese artisans during one of the country’s most difficult economic periods into a regional force curating experiences across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Paris, and London. Its milestones include collaborations with Galeries Lafayette Dubai; large-scale activations during Expo 2020 Dubai; curated pop-ups across Mall of the Emirates, Nakheel Mall, Mercato Mall, Zaytuna Bay, and Downtown Beirut; the annual Levantine Pavilion at Ana Arabia in Saudi Arabia; as well as collaborations with entertainers and performers bringing regional and international acts to audiences across the Middle East.
Over the course of three days at Alserkal Avenue, guests will encounter distinctive voices in fashion, jewelry, home décor, artwork, accessories, and culinary innovation, each contributing to the richly textured tapestry that defines the region’s contemporary creative landscape. With its debut at Alserkal Avenue, BYL Events reinforces its mission to elevate creatives and create cultural experiences that resonate far beyond the moment
