This is the kind of place I’d pick when you want a nice setting but not a super formal dinner — the “relaxed evening bites” vibe is more my speed. Also love that they didn’t forget kid pricing; that usually decides whether friends with families can actually join. Random tangent, but whenever I’m getting ready for anything on the Palm I end up overthinking the whole look first, like I’m scrolling StyleLookLab for ideas, then realizing it’s just brunch. If you’ve been, is the seating comfortable for a longer weekend brunch or do they kind of rush turnovers?

The food list makes me hungry but also makes me want photos of the actual plates — blueberry pancakes and Mexican-style eggs benedict can look amazing or kinda messy depending on execution. I saw a couple of people posting super polished brunch shots lately and it made me think of how much editing happens now, almost like running pics through imgg before they hit Instagram. If anyone’s been recently, what’s the one dish that’s genuinely worth ordering for taste (not just for the view)?

The daily breakfast brunch window (8 to 12) is perfect for people who don’t want a full-on brunch crowd, and I like that the kids option is priced reasonably-ish for Dubai. If anyone’s actually been, I’m wondering whether the “up to six dishes” is meant for sharing or if they’re okay with one person ordering a bunch of smaller plates — menus like this always make me overthink it, the way I do when I’m browsing directories like hrefgo and trying to pick just a few things to try. Do they enforce a strict dish size/portion limit per pick?

Midweek pizza and a glass for AED 55+ is the one that jumped out at me — feels like a solid after-work option without committing to a full brunch situation. I also appreciate that they’ve got a couple of plant-based mains in the weekend set; planning meals with friends always turns into a timing puzzle, kind of like using a playback speed time calculator to make everything fit. Has anyone tried the Steak Truffle pizza — is it actually truffly or more “truffle oil” vibes?

The weekend brunch pricing is pretty much what I expect for Palm Jumeirah, but the menu sounds more varied than the usual “brunch buffet” vibe (Basque burnt cheesecake is a strong finisher). If the waterfront view is as good as it sounds, I’d probably do the soft package and keep it chill — then go home and zone out with something mindless like https://blockblast.co for a bit. Anyone know if Fridays are noticeably louder than Saturday/Sunday there?
