Inspired by the whimsical world of Salvador Dali and Dubai’s love for long, leisurely afternoons, Sundays are being reimagined at Maison Dali with the launch of The Art of Sundays: a modern, laid-back take on the classic Sunday roast!
At The Art of Sundays, there’s no dress code and no rush, just watch the time melt away. Set against the charming backdrop of Maison Dali’s warm interiors and the soft hum of conversation, this Sunday roast is made for those who believe in the beauty of doing nothing, beautifully.
Putting a creative culinary spin on the classic Sunday roast, The Art of Sundays encourages guests to unwind, savour every carefully prepared bite, and watch the time melt away. Taking place every week from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, diners can enjoy your traditional roast with a choice of chicken, beef, or cauliflower, each served with all the trimmings. Opt to accompany your sumptuous Sunday roast with a starter for AED 280 or tuck into a starter and dessert for AED 330 for ultimate indulgence.
Your relaxed Sunday meal begins with playful creations such as the Potato Mochi, a soft gnocchi-style bite made from rice flour and Agria potatoes, enriched with Vacherin Mont d’Or, parmesan, and a fragrant touch of autumn truffle. Offering a unique take on a beloved classic, the Hickory Smoked Salmon is served with smoked olive oil, apple & horseradish salad, and smoked avocado purée, while The Dali Salad features baby gem lettuce tossed in a pistachio-feta dressing, pickled onions, shiso leaves, parmesan, and garlic sourdough croutons.
For the main event, savour your choice of the Korean Pepper Angus, aged for five days and finished with beef jus and wasabi, or the Smoked Honey Soy Chicken, brined, poached in honey and soy, and lightly smoked. Meanwhile, vegetarians can enjoy a perfectly golden Cauliflower Kiev served atop a silky turnip purée. For the perfect balance of flavours, each main course is paired with crispy roast potatoes, soy-glazed carrots, broccolini, and Scottish puddings, plus an optional Truffle Cauliflower Cheese add-on for AED 80.
Rounding out the experience on a sweet note, delight in the decadent Treacle Tart, a classic British dessert combining golden syrup, breadcrumbs, and almonds, topped with tonka bean icing sugar and clotted cream chantilly. Other highlights include the Sticky Toffee Softie elevated by date ice cream, crystallised walnuts, and butterscotch sauce, and the Peach Melba, consisting of fresh Spanish peaches poached in a delicate syrup and finished with Arctic raspberry sauce, Tie Guan Yin tea mousse, peach sorbet, and Italian meringue.
Embrace The Art of Sundays at Maison Dali, where inventive plates, easy conversations, and an inviting atmosphere come together for an afternoon of laid-back indulgence. Book your spot now to experience a Sunday roast reinvented into something playful, refined, and delightfully unexpected.
