#RaemonaReview - Inside AMARU Dubai’s Immersive Latin American Dining Experience

If you’re looking for a dining experience in Dubai that genuinely transports you somewhere else for the evening, AMARU absolutely delivers.

Located in the beautiful Souk Madinat Jumeirah, the restaurant combines bold Latin American flavours with immersive interiors, atmospheric music and stunning 360° projection mapping that makes the whole evening feel incredibly special from the moment you arrive.

We visited as part of Dubai Restaurant Week and were seriously impressed by both the quality and creativity of the menu. The experience started with an incredible lobster amuse bouche, which immediately set the tone for the evening.

For starters, we tried the Pacific Gold Ceviche and Beef Empanadas, both packed with flavour and beautifully balanced. The ceviche was fresh, vibrant and zesty, whilst the empanadas were rich, comforting and full of depth.

For mains, the standout dishes were the melt-in-the-mouth 36-hour short rib and the seabass, both cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Every course felt thoughtfully curated and elevated, with so many delicious flavours in every bite.

Dessert was the perfect ending with indulgent churros with dark chocolate and chocolate orange sauce, alongside a decadent dulce de leche chocolate fondant that we’re still thinking about!

Beyond the food itself, what really stood out was how immersive the entire experience felt. AMARU doesn’t just serve dinner, it creates a journey through flavour, atmosphere and storytelling. In fact, by the end of the evening, we were already talking about booking a trip to South America!

For AED 250 per person as part of Dubai Restaurant Week, this felt like exceptional value for such a high-end dining experience and one of the standout dining experiences we’ve had in Dubai recently.
