Sparkle Foundation Celebrates 2 Years Of Its Transformative Work

The Sparkle Foundation is celebrating its anniversary to mark two years of its work with children and communities that has seen lives transformed in Malawi. Since its launch in the UAE at the Expo 2020, the foundation has raised around AED 6 million and impacted the lives of an additional 5,000 Malawians.

Founder, Sarah Brook, the first Humanitarian Golden Visa holder sponsored by the UAE Government, has led the foundation to significant milestones. In 2022, The Sparkle Foundation raised AED 3 million, educated 734 children, treated over 13,878 patients, served 210,000+ meals, and opened a second centre in Mulunguzi. Building on that success, the foundation hosted a sold-out Sparkle Gala in 2023 that raised AED 1 million and helped launch a third centre in Namitembo.

Since its inception, the Sparkle Foundation has provided education to over 5,000 children, delivered 31,000+ medical treatments, served 700,000 meals, and raised over AED 10 million.

The foundation is now looking forward to the formation of a new UAE board, the opening of its US branch, and impacting over 100,000 lives by 2030.
