SACRA Dubai // The Middle East’s Largest Bath Club and Banya Opens in Jumeirah 1

Dubai’s wellness scene has embraced cold plunges, saunas and recovery studios. Now it’s about to discover the banya. SACRA, which describes itself as the Middle East’s largest bath club, is opening on 17B Street in Jumeirah 1, with the traditional Eastern European steam bath at its heart.
The banya
The 2,400-square-metre complex is built around one experience. Its centrepiece is a 50-square-metre banya chamber, which the club says is the largest in the region. Guests are enveloped in deep, intense heat from hot air and water infused onto the stones. Then comes the venik ritual, in which handcrafted whisks of fir, birch and oak are used on the body. The tradition is said to boost circulation, ease muscle tension and restore energy.
The full thermal journey
Everything else is designed around the banya. There are separate men’s and women’s bath areas, plus a Turkish hammam, speciality steam rooms, a jacuzzi, ice baths, cold plunge barrels and an ice room kept at -5°C. You’ll also find a hyperbaric chamber, a floating area and a salt grotto for the skin and breathing. Spa treatments, massage and personalised bodywork complete the offer. Partner clinic SKIN 111 provides medically led longevity treatments on site.
Private suites
For groups or special occasions, three themed VIP suites offer a private retreat. There’s an alpine-style Chalet Suite, a Morocco Suite inspired by tranquil gardens, and a nostalgic suite with warm red wood and vintage touches.
Stay all day
Between sessions, a lounge invites you to slow down. The SACRA Restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes, steakhouse favourites and comforting Eastern European food, all with a wellness twist.

SACRA is led by founder Alexander Orlov, who is behind several premium bath concepts worldwide.
