RIMOWA has introduced Ink Blue, a new permanent colourway joining its legendary Original suitcase range. Inspired by the timelessness of ink - used for centuries to write, draw and dye - the shade delivers a deep midnight hue with a luminous metallic sheen, brought to life through RIMOWA's signature anodisation technique.
The launch is accompanied by a short film starring American actress Sydney Lemmon, who travels through a blue-tinted Shanghai in search of love, guided by a trail of ink-calligraphy letters - her RIMOWA suitcase by her side throughout.
Available across Cabin, Check-in L and Trunk Plus sizes, the Ink Blue Original collection carries RIMOWA's lifetime guarantee and signature engineering details, including the stage-free telescopic handle, Multiwheel system and a newly redesigned damped handle for silent closure. The colourway extends into the Groove leather accessories line, alongside a denim-inspired capsule featuring a reversible bucket hat, packing cubes and a toiletry pouch - RIMOWA's first foray into the fabric.
Prices start from €240 for the aluminium card holder up to €1,950 for the Trunk Plus, available now at RIMOWA stores and online at RIMOWA.com.
