Raemona Reviews // A Magical Escape: Pool Day Bliss at La Cantine Beach, Dubai

A pool day at La Cantine Beach, was everything we had come to expect from owners Rikas Group. whose other venues include Twiggy, Eugene Eugene, Kyma Beach and Tagomago. Everything they touch and launch in our city is polished, luxurious and with spot on service. Our expectations were high before we'd even arrived at the well appointed Valet.

We're valeted and greeted warmly in a gorgeous shop filled with beach wear, accessories and oodles of glamorous bits, before being shown down to the beach club. We pass the sports courts, which are as chic as everything else at La Cantine Beach, before being led to the adult only pool.

From the moment you arrive, the scent of salt air, gentle hum of curated music, and warm, attentive staff begin weaving a spell you won’t want to break. Tucked away at The Delano Hotel, this beachside sanctuary redefines what it means to relax in style and we're totally here for it.

La Cantine Beach isn’t just a beach club. its a destination. Think elegant white loungers set against the backdrop of the azure Arabian Gulf, an infinity pool that seems to kiss the horizon, and a vibe that balances chic sophistication with barefoot freedom. Whether you're sipping a cocktail crafted with precision or dipping your toes into the cool, crystal-clear pool, every moment here feels like a postcard from paradise.

We settle in on our sun lounger, with a waiter arriving in seconds - two frozen margaritas coming up. A little tanning time later, we ease into the pool which is chilled to perfection and with lots of areas to sit and relax while toasting away. Drinks are allowed in the pool too - we're winning and tanning at life, quite literally. Oh and there are perfectly designed and curated pool floaties too - just for extra good measure.

Lunchtime arrives and we have the option to enjoy light bites by the pool on our loungers or head inside to the restaurant to enjoy the full lunch menu. We opt for the latter, given it's June and a chilled out lunch indoors seems just perfect. A menu filled with fresh ingredients, delicious salads, dips, warm breads and lots of fish and seafood, is perfect to share. Complimented with a chilled glass of white and we're nourished and happy and ready to resume our afternoon of tanning.

What sets La Cantine Beach apart, as with all Rikas Group venues, is its attention to detail. The is chic and inviting, without pretence. The food, curated from a blend of Mediterranean and coastal cuisines, is light, fresh, and surprisingly soulful. The burrata and heirloom tomatoes are a must-try, and the seafood linguine could convince any skeptic that pasta does belong by the sea.

As the sun begins to dip, the soft music swells and it's the perfect end to day with a sundowner in hand watching the glistening sea.

If you're looking for a pool day that feels like a daydream, equal parts glamorous and grounding, or a relaxed lunch with friends, La Cantine Beach is Dubai’s sun-kissed answer. A rare gem where time slows down, and every second feels like summer, even when it is a toasty 40 odd degrees.
