Premium Butchery Fin & Bone Launches Hands-On Sausage Making Workshop in Al Barari

Fin & Bone, the premium butchery and fishery located within Seventh Heaven, Al Barari, invites food lovers and families to an immersive Sausage Making Workshop set in the heart of Al Barari’s tranquil neighborhood. The workshops are available from Monday to Saturday, with up to two classes per day between 2pm and 5pm.
Each 1.5-hour session is priced at AED 150 per person and is designed for small, intimate groups of up to four participants, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience. Led by Fin & Bone’s Head Butcher, Richard Douglas, the workshop offers a fun, interactive way to explore the art of traditional sausage making through pure artistry and craft.
Participants will learn everything from selecting quality ingredients and experimenting with flavours to filling casings and crafting sausages by hand. The type of sausages guests make will depend on shop availability, though special requests can be accommodated with advance notice. No prior experience is required - the workshop is approachable, enjoyable, and perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to try something new.
This experience offers more than just a class; it’s an opportunity to connect with a growing community of food enthusiasts and to enjoy a mindful, well-crafted culinary activity. Families can spend quality time together, friends can bond over a unique shared experience, and anyone with a passion for food can explore the craft in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
In addition to the Sausage Making Workshop, Fin & Bone will soon introduce a series of new Master Classes designed to expand guests’ culinary skills. The upcoming workshops will cover a diverse range of cooking techniques, including fish preparation for sushi and filleting, knife sharpening, food preservation methods such as curing and pickling, and nose-to-tail cooking to minimise waste. Special additions also include butter-making classes and homemade rubs and spices. More details on these specialised classes will follow soon.
