With a strong business acumen, Anastasiia has successfully built multiple ventures while balancing her role as a mother to a four-year-old daughter. Today Anastasiia shares with us a typical day in her life and career:

8AM:

Even though my day starts way earlier with either a pilates or serious gym session, I like to make sure that by 8 am I am ready for my morning routine with my daughter – having breakfast together is a precious moment for me as a mother, it sets me up for the day and somehow inspires me to be better at what I do. Then we have the usual school drop-off, and I move on with planning my day ahead.

10AM:

Meetings with my team at Hortman Clinics – we’re constantly looking to challenge the niche that we’re in, therefore most of my work days start with discussing new treatments, client experiences, and business strategies. I believe that my staff is doing a great job at both looking towards the future and what new trends we should tap into, but also looking at learning from our past client experiences. Balancing this mindset is key for us as we strive to be the best in the industry.

12NOON:

I make sure I reserve time to check in on my other business ventures, reviewing performance, and exploring new growth opportunities. Along side Hortman Clinics, I manage a vast portfolio of businesses and breaking this mid-day gives me a better perspective of entrepreneurship. Sort of a “see the forest behind the trees” attitude.

2PM:

Lunch and strategy sessions – even though it should be a break, I try to take advantage of this time and I often engage in networking events or finding new ways to collaborate with industry professionals. It’s a great opportunity to take a step back and look at the bigger picture sometimes. What’s happening in my industry or even what’s happening in other industries that can be applied in my niche of expertise. It’s a very creative exercise actually!

4PM:

Hortman Clinics, meeting clients, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly. I think that getting direct feedback and interacting with clients as a entrepreneur is such a golden opportunity to develop your business even more. You have an incredible opportunity to understand firsthand what works in your business and what can be altered. So, sitting down with some of our clients is a very good way to understand my operational format even better.

6PM:

Quality time with my daughter – It’s my favorite time of the day actually, after all the meetings and planning, we’re turning to playtime, reading, and unwinding from the day. I think that being a mom is incredibly rewarding and it has helped me become an even better leader. A lot of business women worry about parenthood, but I believe that being a business woman thought me to be a better parent and vice versa.

8PM:

Business development – after reflecting on my day, when time allows me I like to juggle new ideas for future projects, branding, and expanding my ventures. I like to draw the line and see what I have learned from my daily interaction with people and with my daughter even- she is a great source of inspiration.

10PM:

Personal time – self-care, reflecting, and planning for the next day. I think that getting proper rest is one of the most important things as an entrepreneur. You can get so invested into your work that sometimes most of us forget one crucial element that impacts your productivity- sleep. Alongside my evening skincare routine, which is a set in stone practice, I like to reflect on my day and take out the positive elements that I can be grateful for. Then, comes a quick planning for the day ahead and we’re turning off the lights for resting and replenishing.
