 Let's discover Olivia's biggest life lessons to-date:

#LIFELESSON – 1: When motherhood becomes a catalyst for change

I began my professional journey in the structured world of insurance, working as a sales executive at AXA. While the role offered stability, I often felt a disconnect between my daily tasks and a deeper sense of purpose. The turning point came with the birth of my second child. As a mother, the instinct to protect and nurture is paramount, and I became increasingly conscious of the products I was bringing into our home. At the same time, the COVID-19 lockdown provided an unexpected pause, a moment to reflect and reassess. With more time spent at home, I started scrutinizing the labels on our household products. I was shocked to discover the array of toxic chemicals present in items we used daily, especially in laundry detergents. This realisation was both alarming and enlightening.

Determined to make a change, After many trials in my kitchen, I embarked on a mission to create a safer, more sustainable alternative. This led to the birth of Because You Care, an eco-friendly laundry powder crafted with love and care. The journey from corporate insurance to eco-entrepreneurship was not linear, but it was fuelled by a newfound purpose: to ensure a healthier environment for my children and community. This experience taught me that profound transformations often stem from personal revelations. Motherhood didn't just change my life, it reshaped my values, priorities,

and ultimately, my career path.

#LIFELESSON – 2: Embracing imperfection and finding strength in vulnerability

When I launched Because You Care, I envisioned a seamless journey: Glowing customer reviews, and a thriving eco-conscious community. Reality, however, had other plans. There were moments when orders were delayed, packaging wasn't perfect, and self-doubt crept in. I questioned my decisions, wondering if I was cut out for this path. But amidst the chaos, I discovered something profound: perfection is a myth, and vulnerability is a strength. Each hiccup taught me resilience, each setback offered a lesson, and each moment of doubt pushed me to grow. I learned to celebrate progress over perfection and to see challenges as opportunities for innovation.

This journey also taught me the power of community. Opening up about my struggles led to connections with fellow entrepreneurs who shared their own stories of trials and triumphs. Together, we found solace in our shared experiences, reminding each other that it's okay to stumble, as long as we keep moving forward. In embracing imperfection, I found authenticity. In vulnerability, I found strength. And in the messy, beautiful journey of entrepreneurship!

#LIFELESSON – 3: The Power of visualisation and emotional alignment

Success is not one-size-fits-all: It’s a deeply personal vision shaped by our values, passions, and aspirations. For me, success is about creating a harmonious balance between my professional and personal life, while simultaneously raising awareness about endocrine disruptors and empowering people to make conscious choices. It’s about living my brand, embodying my values, and making a tangible impact without compromise.

Visualisation is a powerful tool to manifest this reality. By vividly imagining the emotional state we want to embody, whether it’s peace, confidence, or joy, we align ourselves with that energy. This isn’t just wishful thinking; science supports the idea that our thoughts shape our reality. Dr. Bruce Lipton, a renowned biologist, explores this concept in his work, highlighting how our beliefs and perceptions can influence our biology and the world around us. He states, “The environment outside the cell is more important than the genetic code inside the cell,” emphasising how our mindset can alter our reality! By consciously visualising the emotional state we desire, we’re not just daydreaming, we’re aligning our thoughts with our actions, creating a life that reflects our deepest intentions.
