Discover Katch Kafé & The UAE’s First-Ever Agency Pop-Up Café at To The Moon & Back

Dubai is set to witness another first, this time, fuelled by coffee. To mark 15 years of storytelling, creativity, and community, Katch International is breaking new ground with the launch of Katch Kafé, the UAE’s first-ever agency pop-up café.

Running from October 17^th to 19^th, the one-of-a-kind takeover of the much-loved homegrown coffeehouse To The Moon & Back, an Emirati-owned homegrown café by Zainab Al Mousawi, promises an immersive experience blending flavour, design, and culture. Guests can expect a pink-themed transformation, an exclusive menu of specially crafted treats, and plenty of Instagrammable moments. 

The takeover will see To The Moon & Back reimagined in true Katch style with pink carpets, playful pink-and-green accents, and custom artwork featuring astronauts, camels, and Dubai icons. Visitors will be treated to an exclusive menu created just for the occasion, including a Pistachio & White Chocolate Cinnamon Bun, Matcha Strawberry Croissant, Strawberry & Cream Pie, and Strawberry Matcha.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a special, limited edition creamy gelato by Miva Flavour House, a Dubai-born brand experimenting with unique flavours made for curious taste buds. Alongside this, the brand will support the conceptualisation of Katch Kafé by creating an experiential set-up featuring captivating décor and unique tableware. 

Alongside these limited-edition bites, guests can also snap some pics in the themed photo booth, provided by Boothclub, to capture the moment. The booth will be kitted out with plenty of props and features, allowing attendees to grab some cool, free mementoes to take home and remember Katch Kafé long after it has closed its doors. 

The pop-up will see Katch collaborate with several other homegrown brands, including GN Trading, a local manufacturer and leading importer and exporter of food products for 25 years, and Emirati Coffee Co, a Dubai-based speciality coffee roastery sourcing beans from around the world and producing a range of products, becoming a true showcase of the UAE’s entrepreneurial spirit and homegrown talent. Each partner has played a key role in bringing the project to life, reinforcing Katch’s ethos of celebrating stories with roots in the local community.

As part of the activation, on Saturday, October 18^th, Katch Kafé will host its very own Coffee Rave, a high-energy night in collaboration with locally-loved music collective No Filter. Set against the transformed backdrop of the café, attendees can expect electrifying sets, exclusive Katch creations, and a vibrant party atmosphere fuelled by caffeine and creativity.

Georgie Woollams, Founder of Katch International, recently commented on the pop-up, “When we were thinking of what to do for our 15^th anniversary, we sat down and grabbed a coffee to discuss. And then it struck us, why not coffee? Coffee has always been a cornerstone of culture and connection in the UAE, so creating a first-of-its-kind pop-up café felt like a natural way to celebrate 15 years of storytelling. In true Katch style, we wanted to do something no one else has done before, blending creativity, caffeine, and community. Katch Kafé is bold, unexpected, and completely outside the box, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to experience it with us.” 

Playing home to Katch Kafé is To The Moon & Back, one of Dubai’s most beloved speciality coffeehouses founded in 2018 by Emirati entrepreneur Zainab Al Mousawi. Inspired by Melbourne’s third-wave coffee culture, the café brings together artistry, flavour, and design, creating an atmosphere where creativity and community thrive.
