Connected Caring: Al Ghurair Brings a New Kind of Healthcare to Dubai

Dubai is growing fast, and its healthcare is evolving to keep pace. This month, Al Ghurair, one of the region’s largest family business groups, launched Trellis Health, a new healthcare group built around a simple but powerful idea: Connected Caring.
The idea is care that stays with you through every stage of your journey, so you aren’t left to find your own way through the system. That means one team around each patient, experts who put patients first, smart technology that makes care easier to access, and a commitment to health that goes well beyond a single appointment.
The group starts with Trellis Hospital in Umm Suqeim. It’s a JCI-accredited, 50-bed hospital covering more than 35 specialties, including obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, cardiology and orthopaedics. Two new clinics will open in Expo City and Jumeirah Village Circle by the end of 2026, and a further hospital and two more clinics are planned.

“Healthcare touches every person and every family,” says Nasser Al Ghurair, Family Sponsor of Trellis Health. Dubai’s population is projected to reach 5.8 million by 2040, which makes this a timely, long-term investment in the city’s wellbeing and in the communities that call it home.
