Celestial Connections // Experience 3 Stargazing Weekends Under the Stars at Jebel Hafit Desert Park

Jebel Hafit Desert Park invites families, explorers, and curious minds to Celestial Connections — a three-part stargazing series held on April 19, April 26, and May 3, 2025, as part of the Mountain Trails & Tales event line-up.

Each evening will run from 7pm to 10.30pm on April 19th and 26th, and from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM on May 3, offering a thoughtfully curated program under the stars at this iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Guests can look forward to smart telescope deep-sky viewings and guided planet spotting, silk-screening and UV painting inspired by Arab astronomy, interactive drumming circles, night-time archaeology tours, hands-on astrophotography sessions, and glow-in-the-dark cosmic surprises. It’s an evening that blends science, culture, and creativity—designed to inspire awe, spark meaningful connection, and celebrate the UAE’s deep-rooted relationship with the cosmos.

Led by expert astronomers from Al Sadeem Observatory, the event combines cutting-edge celestial observation with immersive educational and artistic activities, making it ideal for families, stargazers, and anyone with a sense of wonder.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy complimentary cultural snacks and refreshments. For a full desert dining experience, attendees can pre-order a BBQ box (up to 3 days before their selected date) and cook dinner over an open fire beside their camp setup. Those who prefer to bring their own food are welcome to do so.
