World Ocean Day Watch // New Nat Geo Documentary: Ocean with David Attenborough

With World Ocean Day coming up this Sunday, there's a new National Geographic documentary perfect to watch: Ocean with David Attenborough.

Premiering June 8th on Disney+ and also broadcasting the same day on National Geographic Abu Dhabi, and on June 10 on National Geographic, 'Ocean' is narrated by the world’s preeminent natural historian Sir David Attenborough, the feature-length documentary explores the vital role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth, while capturing some of the most extraordinary underwater habitats ever filmed — from coral reefs and kelp forests to deep-sea seamounts.

Filmed over two years across locations including the Azores, California, Indonesia, the U.K., and Antarctica, the film highlights the impact of destructive practices like bottom trawling, while also showing the ocean’s remarkable ability to recover when protected.

Tune in and be prepared to be amazed as ever.
