Women’s Triathlon in Dubai: How to Enter the World Triathlon Women’s Cup 2026

If doing your first triathlon has been on your list, this could be the year. Entries are now open for the World Triathlon Women’s Cup Dubai, which returns to Al Mamzar Beach Park on Sunday 6 December. It’s the only event of its kind dedicated entirely to women, and first-timers and amateurs race at the same venue, on the same day, as elite international athletes.
Organised by Dubai Sports Council with World Triathlon and the UAE Triathlon Federation, the event is about far more than finishing times. It celebrates women’s strength and togetherness, and aims to encourage more women and girls into sport.
Three ways to race
The Super Sprint is designed to make a first triathlon achievable, with a 400m swim, 10km bike and 2.5km run. If you want a bigger challenge, the Sprint doubles that to a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. Both races are open to women aged 18 and over, and you can enter on your own or as a relay team of up to three. If you’re nervous about the swim, a friend can take that leg. The Elite race covers the Sprint distance, and the winner receives 500 Olympic Ranking points.
Emirati women will also compete for their own podium, with the top three finishers recognised in both the individual and team categories.
Time to train
Race day falls a week after Dubai Fitness Challenge ends, so the month of the challenge doubles as a ready-made training plan.
A weekend for everyone
The event village opens on Saturday 5 December and again on race day. There will be grandstands, music, wellness activities, food and drink, and WTWC Talks on nutrition, mental wellbeing and balancing work and life.
How to enter
Early bird entry costs AED 240 for individuals and AED 480 for relay teams until 13 November. From 14 November, prices rise to AED 300 and AED 600. Sign up at wtwcdubai.ae.
