Welcome Home: Inside Tanagra’s Stunning New Mall of the Emirates Flagship

Forget everything you know about shopping for homeware. Tanagra’s reimagined flagship at Mall of the Emirates has officially celebrated its grand opening, and it feels less like a store and more like stepping into a beautiful home.

Designed by acclaimed French interior designer Laura Gonzalez, the boutique takes its cue from the traditional Middle Eastern house. At its heart is a central courtyard, a symbol of gathering and hospitality, and from there you wander through a series of rooms, each with its own mood. There’s the Baccarat Atrium, the Christofle Atelier, the Daum Pavilion, a Dining Gallery, a Library and an elegant VIP Salon. Rich textures, warm materials and graceful architectural details make the space feel intimate and lived in.

It all comes back to what Tanagra calls The Art of Reception: the belief that true luxury is about how you make people feel, not just the objects you sell. Nowhere is that clearer than the new Tea Bar. Pause here for premium teas, Arabic coffee, karak, espresso or iced coffee, served on tableware from Tanagra’s world-renowned maisons with artisanal chocolates and biscuits. Even the air has been considered, thanks to a signature scent of fresh flowers, warm wood, polished stone and tea, created just for the boutique.

The opening also marks the next chapter of Maison Tanagra, the brand’s autumn campaign celebrating the interior design heritage of the GCC through the eyes of leading regional designers.

To mark the occasion, Tanagra is inviting shoppers to play along with Unlock the House, an interactive treasure hunt across Mall of the Emirates. Follow a trail of clues from selected spots around the mall to the flagship itself, unlocking exclusive rewards, invitations and gifts along the way.

With more than 40 years in the region, Tanagra has long been the go-to for luxury tableware and gifting. With the festive season approaching, this is the perfect excuse to pop in, pull up a chair at the Tea Bar and find inspiration for entertaining at home.
