Tips for Buying Well On Temu

Hi, my name is Katie and I’m a Temu addict.
It started with ‘just a few bits’ to try it out, and before I knew it, a mini dog sofa was turning up at my front door. My delivery man and I are basically on first-name terms now. Temu is like that friend who convinces you to go out for ‘just one drink’, and suddenly it’s 2 am and you’re eating chips.
I’ve found some gems on there, jewellery, party bits, giftwrap, stocking fillers, and random household things I didn’t know existed, but now apparently can’t live without. But like anything, there are tricks to shopping smart.
Here are my five top tips before you hit ‘add to cart’:
Check the seller’s track record
Look at how long the seller has been on Temu. A well-established seller usually means more reliable products.
Read the reviews (all of them)
Don’t just skim the top ones as there are a lot of fake reviews, read what people actually wrote. Bonus points if they upload photos.
Zoom in on the images
Is it a real item or just a stock photo of something you’ll never see? If it looks too perfect, it probably is.
Expect the unexpected, and check the size!
Things might take a little longer to arrive, and sometimes the scale is not as expected. I once ordered a vase that turned out to be the same size as a thimble. Check the dimensions to avoid my mistakes.
Temu is like a treasure hunt, sometimes you find gold!
