Step Into the Spirit of Thailand // Banyan Tree Dubai’s First-Ever Thai Fest This October

Banyan Tree Dubai invites guest to gather at Saffron for the relaunch of its much-loved pop-up, with the debut of Thai Fest on Thursday, 23 October, an unforgettable celebration of Thailand’s vibrant culture. 

For one evening only, Thai Fest will bring the sights, sounds, and flavours of Thailand to the heart of Dubai. Guests will be welcomed into the resort’s enchanting gardens with colourful crafted libations and traditional Thai greetings, before immersing themselves in a night of vibrant festivities and a dedicated children’s area featuring Thai crafts. 

The evening’s culinary journey will be presented by the Banyan Tree Dubai Culinary Team in collaboration with Chef Tina, Tidarat Luangthep, Chef de Cuisine of Saffron at Banyan Tree AlUla. Together, they will showcase a vibrant series of live food stations that take guests on a journey through Thailand’s culinary traditions, from wok-fried Pad Thai and fresh seafood at the raw bar to aromatic curries, satay grills, tempura, and a hands-on rice paper roll class. Sweet endings will be complemented by refreshing pours of Chang draft beer and cocktails crafted with Asian spirits including Haku Vodka, Roku Gin, and Toki Whisky. 

Guests can also look forward to vibrant culinary activations, including crafting their own herbal spring rolls at the Yum Garden and sampling oysters and soup shots at the Raw Bar. Live stations will feature highlights such as salt-crusted whole fish, freshly grilled satay skewers, and The Curry Bowl Experience served in a lively street market style. To end on a sweet note, the Coconut Ice Cream Bar will offer customisable options with toppings like sticky rice, peanuts, and condensed milk. 

Enhancing the evening’s spirit of wellbeing, guests can also enjoy mini massages from Banyan Tree Spa, while traditional Thai elements create a transportive and festive atmosphere.
