Precision Football, the elite technical training academy backed by Agon Capital and co-founded by former professional footballer and UEFA-qualified coach Sonny Cobbs, is gearing up for its most ambitious season yet.
The 2025–2026 Academy kicks off on September 1st, offering a high-performance, tech-driven environment for youth players aged 3 to 15, and setting a new benchmark for football development in the region.
With a philosophy rooted in discipline, data, and development, the Academy is designed to take young athletes from early-stage training to national and international competition, preparing them not just for the game, but for the future.
“The Academy is the heartbeat of everything we do at Precision Football,” said Sonny Cobbs, co-founder of Precision Football. “It’s more than just a training ground - it’s where passion meets purpose, where discipline and joy coexist, and where young players begin their journey toward excellence. This is where we lay the groundwork for the future of football, not just in the region, but on a global stage.”
This season, Precision Football takes a bold leap forward as its U10 and U12 Development Squads enter the UAE National League, competing against the country’s top youth teams. These squads are direct graduates of the Academy pipeline, a clear sign of its effectiveness in nurturing talent ready for elite competition. Last season alone, several players were scouted by regional clubs, with one standout earning a training opportunity abroad, a reflection of Precision’s growing reputation as a launchpad for top-tier youth football.
A defining feature of the Academy is its integration of technology into every stage of the player journey. In partnership with Playermaker, Precision employs wearable tech, video analysis, and AI-driven feedback tools, offering young athletes access to the same elite performance systems used by European professional clubs. Each player receives individualised development insights, allowing them to track progress, set goals, and evolve with purpose.
Further amplifying its impact, Precision Football continues to work closely with the UAE Sports Council and the UAE Ministry of Sports, aligning with national objectives to elevate youth participation and position the country as a global player in football excellence.
The Academy’s weekly training programme is structured across three terms and includes age-specific coaching, weekend match play, and an all-inclusive registration package. With accessible pricing and sibling discounts, it’s tailored for families committed to long-term athletic development.
Through Precision’s vertically integrated model - linking the Academy, Development Squads, and First Team - players benefit from a seamless, aspirational pathway. This football ecosystem is built on consistency, community, and continuous growth.
With limited spaces and rising demand, the 2025–2026 season is expected to be Precision Football’s most competitive and transformative yet. Registration is now open, with early applicants receiving priority access to exclusive workshops with guest coaches and international scouts.
