Power-Up Your Play: First-Ever LEGO® PlayStation™ Set Revealed

Nostalgia just got a serious upgrade. The LEGO Group has unveiled its first-ever LEGO® PlayStation™ set, a 1,911-piece tribute to the console that defined a generation of gaming.

Designed for adult builders, the premium display model recreates the original PlayStation with striking accuracy: the unmistakable grey silhouette, its groundbreaking first controller, and a near 1:1 scale build measuring over 6cm high, 26cm wide, and 19cm deep. Details go far beyond looks, with a plug-in brick-built controller and genuinely functional Open and Power buttons designed to recapture the ritual of booting up a '90s console.

The real surprise sits inside. Popping open the console reveals hidden, buildable dioramas celebrating two gaming icons: a Gran Turismo™ track complete with miniature racing cars, and an Ape Escape™ scene featuring the game's signature monkey helmet. Both dioramas can stay concealed within the console or be displayed proudly alongside it.

Revealed during PlayStation's State of Play broadcast, the LEGO PlayStation™ (72306) launches for LEGO Insiders Early Access on 1 October 2026, before opening to everyone on 4 October.

It will retail at £139.99 / €159.99 / $179.99, available at LEGO.com/PlayStation, LEGO Stores, and select retailers.

What I found interesting here is how the LEGO PlayStation set brings back the original console experience through details such as the classic controller and working buttons. It made me curious about https://19216801ip.ws/ too, which explains how 192.168.0.1 is used when accessing compatible router settings.
