Say hello to Rosie, a highly respected facialist whose client portfolio consists of A-list celebrities, chief editors and philanthropists.

Rosie's aesthetics journey began over 15 years ago, after graduating with a diploma in Aesthetic Beauty Sciences, in her hometown of Bristol, where she became fascinated with medical-grade machines and results-driven techniques.

Over the years, she has worked in exclusive locations all around the world including her most recent 5 year residency working along side world renowned plastic surgeon at The Wellness Clinic at Harrods, which also saw her regularly traveling internationally to treat private clients.

Let's take a look at her typical day:

8AM: I love my day to day and how varied it is and looking forward to spending more time in Dubai this year. As I travel back and forth between Europe and the UAE, my schedule can slightly vary, but I always like to try to keep the core elements of my schedule as regimented as possible. As a huge believer of healthy skin comes from within, I always start my day with my morning ritual which consists of celery juice. There is a myriad of benefits of drinking this, some of the main reasons are it helps to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

10AM: Deciding to be my own boss was definitely the best decision I ever made, but it doesn’t come without its own challenges. I am usually always glued to my laptop first thing in the morning. I take my Mac out to the balcony and I will check emails and what’s app, as Europe is 4 hours behind the UAE to avoid missing anything important, before I take myself to the gym. Travelling frequently can mean my body can feel neglected, so keeping on-top of a healthy diet and fitness plan always ensures I feel my best.

12NOON: After a solid resistance work out planned by my PT back in the UK and fuelling my body with goodness, I get ready to travel to my high profile clients. After working at Harrods for many years, I built up a strong relationship with clients who travel to London from UAE for their treatments, because of this, its enabled me to take the leap into working freelance for myself. I am in the process of securing a pop-up residency in a well know 5 star hotel spa, this will commence from winter 2024, I am super excited about this as it was my vision when I started my freelance journey and its almost a pinch me moment that with my persistence its become true.

2PM: Arriving at exclusive locations dotted around Dubai is extremely exciting, I get to work with some of the most well know names in the UAE. My clients usually travel internationally, which means their skin can suffer with concerns such as dehydration, breakouts or pigmentation. I bring with me in my kit, a range of equipment such as peels, micro-needling, LED and even micro-current. I will always come prepared for any concern as I like to ensure each treatment is bespoke. This enables me to completely reset their skin and get it back to being healthy. 

6PM: After spending around 2 hours with each client, I will take myself back to my apartment where I will then work on curating treatment plans. It is extremely important to me that each client feels totally looked after when it comes to their home care, as well as when they are with my hands. My treatments plans can vary from guiding on which treatments to have, to the products they use, or giving diet and lifestyle advise such as taking probiotics or seeking advise from a functional medicine healthcare professional.

8PM: After completing my plans, filling out treatment records and cleaning my kit, I usually then get ready for one of my favourite part of the day- dinner with friends. Some of my go to restaurants would have to be on The Palm, us being from the UK, there’s nothing more special than having dinner al fresco, next to the sea whilst watching the sun set. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
