Here's a typical day in her world:
Â
9 AM: I start my day with a morning routine that includes a cup of coffee while enjoying a quiet moment with Kaia, my golden retriever and my fur baby. This time helps me gather my thoughts and set intentions for the day ahead.
Â
10 AM: After some playtime with Kaia, I dive into my design work. I spend this hour responding to emails, managing customer inquiries, and connecting with suppliers to ensure everything is on track. I also package orders that need to be shipped, making sure each one is ready for a smooth delivery.
Â
11 AM: I then shift my focus to sketching and developing concepts for upcoming products. My mind is in a constant state of creativity. I work on new ideas and creating prototypes, as well as redesigning artwork that I’ve previously worked on to perfect it. This process often involves a lot of fun messiness as I experiment with different materials, lighting, and designs, drawing inspiration from both my own experiences and trends in the baby product market.
Â
1 PM: Lunchtime is a chance for me to recharge. I often prepare a light meal while checking social media and browsing online parenting magazines, keeping me connected to my community and inspired.
Â
2 PM: Post-lunch, I turn my attention to marketing and social media. I design content to engage with my audience, sharing some behind-the-scenes glimpses of my design process or showcasing new products.
Â
4 PM: I go back to administrative tasks, managing orders, coordinating with suppliers, replying to emails, and organizing schedules. Organization is key, and I take pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
Â
6 PM: As the workday winds down, I take a break to enjoy some time with Kaia. We go for a longer walk, which helps me clear my mind and find inspiration in my surroundings.
Â
8 PM: After dinner, I often return to my studio to review the day’s work. This quieter time allows me to reflect on my progress and plan for the next day, often jotting down ideas in my notebook. I unwind with some reading or a favourite TV show, allowing my creativity to flow in a more relaxed setting. This helps me recharge before bed.
Â
11 PM: Before sleep, I take a moment to use my affirmation cards, reflecting on the day’s accomplishments and setting positive intentions for tomorrow. I try to end each day feeling fulfilled and accomplished, and ready for whatever lies ahead.
