Let’s discover a day in the life and career of Elena:
6.30AM-8:30AM:
Since I`m a busy mother with a full-time job and tight daily schedule, my morning usually starts early. I help my son to prepare for his school day which usually looks like a rush on-the-go. After he leaves, I can enjoy some time, having breakfast with my husband, feeding our cats and preparing for a new day.
9-9.30 AM:
By this time, I am usually at work in full capacity checking my diary of tasks and meetings of my plan for the day. As a part of time management, I prefer to plan most important calls, meetings and tasks that require concentration for the first half of the day. I`m a morning person and this is when my mind is clear and efficient.
1 PM :
My day is always packed with calls and meetings, and to keep myself at full capacity I must have nutritional meal during the day. My lunch time between 1 and 2 pm gives me time to recharge and have some break to check on missed messages or plan for the second half of the day. At this time I also check what’s going on in the Community and coordinate with partners.
3PM:
I plan any outside meetings in the second half of the day.
4-5PM:
This is usually time when I`m catching on emails, pending contracts or revise work. In case I have later meetings, I go home straight afterwards. At this time of the day moving through Dubai traffic jam I often on call with my Abu Dhabi partner, Journalist Elena Bee.
6PM:
This is the time to switch on activities. I believe in a work-life balance that you should find time for yourself and your family members daily. So, I usually finish my working routine at 6 pm, a Must!
7PM:
I’m not a very sportive person but I do regular yoga/stretching, jogging or swimming at least 3 times a week. In between, I`m usually spending the time with my husband preparing dinner for our family. Yes, we do switch our roles as he cooks well truly delicious meals. I should say I`m a family person and I love to spend my free time with my husband and son.
8PM:
At this time I check my email for any corporate invites or advertising requests. Our platforms are well known in the UAE and gaining more and more popularity among the local companies and international brands. We organizing expert talks and group tours to the places regularly.
9PM:
This is usually time to relax, to catch up on school home works or conversations with my son, to play with our lovely cats whom I treat as my furry babies.
11PM:
My evening skincare routine, which I shouldn`t missed, some time to unwind, meditate and fall into sleep. Yes, to be ready for a new day and new challenges!
