Modern Japanese Dining Experience TANSŌ Coming Soon to Jumeirah

Dubai’s dining scene is about to welcome TANSŌ, a modern Japanese restaurant, to its mix. Opening mid-November in a private villa on Jumeirah Street, TANSŌ brings together the essence of Japanese charcoal grilling and refined sushi artistry in a warm, contemporary setting.

Named after the Japanese word for "charcoal," TANSŌ is built on the elemental purity of cooking over an open flame. Guests can expect a mix of binchōtan-grilled wagyu, delicate sushi and sashimi and Japanese-inspired cocktails.

The interior of the restaurant exudes elegance, courtesy of Samar Zakhem Design. The space beautifully merges natural stones and textured, charred elements with modern details like crafted woodwork and sculptural lighting inspired by the movement of fire. The restaurant also features live cooking, accompanied by a chef’s table that seats 10 guests.

Once opened, TANSŌ will operate from 12 PM till late, Tuesday to Sunday, offering both à la carte and tasting-style menus.
