Meet "Mauj" - Sexual & Menstrual Health By and For Arab Women

We're always excited to champion any step change, especially when it comes to women's health, so it was very exciting to discover and learn about Mauj, a safe space for Arab Women (and all women!) to learn and explore their body, sexuality, and pleasure.

Mauj was started by two Arab women who grew up in different parts of the Middle East but both experienced the same frustrations and fears around their bodies and sexuality. The more women they spoke to, the more they realized that they were not alone.

Tired of the misinformation, shame, and stigma surrounding the female body, they decided it was finally time to change how we, as women, learned – and spoke – about ourselves.

Think of this as the education we wish we’d received. Amen!
