Today Kristy Morris shares with us her biggest #LifeLessons to-date:

#1 – “Stillness creates momentum

The more you chase, the further away your desired outcome becomes. When you pause, reflect, and align with your purpose, doors open with greater ease. Success isn't always about speed — sometimes it's about clarity.

In our hustle-obsessed world, we've been conditioned to believe constant motion equals progress. But I've learned that relentless pursuit often leads us further from our goals. The breakthrough came when I was forced to stop during a particularly overwhelming period. In that stillness, I could finally see patterns I had missed and feel what truly aligned with my purpose. Now, before making major decisions, I create space for reflection. When you operate from this centered place, the right opportunities seem to magnetize toward you with surprising ease.

#2 – “Redirection is a gift.”

Every roadblock you encounter isn't failure; it's guidance. Each obstacle is pointing you to where you are truly meant to be. What feels like a detour often turns into the most important part of your journey.

For years, I interpreted every closed door as personal failure, wasting energy fighting against circumstances that weren't meant to be. The shift happened when I started asking: "What is this trying to teach me? Where is this guiding me?" A devastating partnership that fell through led to an opportunity that was infinitely better aligned with my values. The job I didn't get led to the career that fulfilled me. Now when I encounter obstacles, my first response isn't frustration—it's curiosity. Redirection often comes disguised as disappointment, but it's actually course correction guiding us toward our highest path.

#3 – “This too shall pass.”

No matter how overwhelming a season feels, it is temporary. Holding this perspective has helped me navigate the highs and lows of entrepreneurship and life, with resilience and grace.

These four words have carried me through the darkest valleys and kept me grounded during the highest peaks. During my most challenging business period, when everything felt insurmountable, remembering this helped me make decisions from wisdom rather than panic. But this wisdom works both ways—during extraordinary success, it keeps me humble and prevents decisions based on temporary highs. This perspective has taught me to fully experience both challenges and celebrations without getting lost in either, making me more present and grateful for each moment.

Kristy’s reflections hit deep. “Redirection is a gift” really resonated with me. Every setback can be a hidden opportunity. It actually reminded me of playing basketball legends , when you lose the ball, you don’t quit, you just adjust your play and come back stronger. Just like in the game, life’s redirections often lead to the biggest wins.

How unbelievable that Retro Bowl, with its simple retro graphics, delivers more fun and emotion than most modern football games!
