If you’re an extremely busy individual, life admin errands can be a huge inconvenience and you probably appreciate procedures that can be sorted online. If this sounds relatable, then you’ll be delighted to know that Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that you can now renew your driver’s license online.
All you need to renew your UAE driver’s license is your Emirates ID, an RTA-approved eye test and you’ll need to pay any outstanding traffic fines prior to the renewal process. Also, don’t forget to renew your license on time, as any delay will result in a penalty of AED 10 per month (maximum of AED 500).
