Immersive Urban Wellness for just AED 50 - Terra Expo City Dubai Launches “The Art of Stillness”

This Valentine’s Day, Terra at Expo City Dubai invites guests to step away from the noise and into a quieter rhythm of being. The Art of Stillness, created in collaboration with PXB, a multi-faceted wellness destination located at Terra, founded by sustainability entrepreneur Loui Blake, offers a curated, nature-infused experience designed to nurture the body, calm the mind and create space for meaningful reconnection with self and place.

At the heart of the experience is a guided native plant gardening session, a quiet but powerful practice in slowing down and seeing differently. Led by Phil Dunn, Senior Manager of Sustainability at Expo City Dubai, the workshop introduces participants to the beauty and intelligence of local UAE plants. Through gentle observation and storytelling, guests explore how desert-adapted species flourish with minimal water, support pollinators, and restore calm to the spaces we live in. Whether in a backyard or on a balcony, the session offers a refreshing rethink of what it means to design with nature in arid cities.

Rooted in Terra’s mission to inspire behaviour change through connection with the natural world, this experience expands the conversation on sustainability to include inner wellbeing. As a hub for climate action, biodiversity and regenerative thinking, Terra continues to explore how cities can become places of healing, not just habitation.

Running from 10AM to 3PM on Saturday 14 February, the day also includes a guided nature walk through Terra’s biodiverse landscape, a meditative sound healing session and a somatic experience designed to bring guests from head to heart through breath and intuitive movement. In the early afternoon, Loui Blake leads a journaling session centred on intention, clarity and emotional expansion.

“Working with nature is an act of reciprocity,” said Cristiana Ruggieri, Head of Visitor Experience and Programme Delivery, Expo City Dubai. “In planting native species, we are not just regenerating soil or supporting biodiversity. We are reminding ourselves that wellbeing and ecological care are deeply interconnected. It’s a grounded, hopeful way to end the day.”

Tickets are priced at AED 50 per person and include access to all sessions. Entry is free for People of Determination.

The Art of Stillness reflects Terra’s evolving mission to make nature, wellness and sustainability more accessible in cities.
