Find a Dress No One Else is Wearing

We work in an office filled with women and we also attend a lot of parties and events, and let’s be honest nothing is worse than walking in to discover you’re not alone in your dress.

So we’ve hunted high and low and we’re opening our little black books to reveal some gems we’ve discovered. Just don’t tell everyone!

L’USTURALIA

L’Ustralia is run by expat Brittany and it stocks beautiful and some unique exclusive brands from Australia. It’s always stocking with new arrivals and we especially love the dresses from “Girl & the Sun”, “Leo and Lin” and “By Johnny”. www.lusturalia.com

Zayan The Label

A long time favourite of ours for special occasions and parties due to its flirty fabrics, hand-embroidered motifs, custom illustrated prints and innovative cuts, Zayan The Label never fails to deliver. They have a store in Galleria Mall, but are also stocked on zayanthelabel.com and Ounass.com with 2 hour delivery when in a real fix!

Only Ethikal

A recent discovery to us, Only Ethikal stocks ethical and sustainable fashion, with a selection of designers, allcreating quality designs with their innovative and creative techniques whilst keeping sustainability at the heart of what they do. It’s one of our new go to’s for work wear. https://onlyethikal.com

Wear That

A bit of a different one, but “Wear That” is a service whereby you complete a really in depth survey and a stylist sends you a box of outfits specially curated for you. The best thing we’ve discovered aside from not having to leave our sofa, is that they have access to many brands you can only get on their platform – so the chances of someone else wearing are slim! https://wearthat.me

Kate Chad

Another homegrown brand, Kate Chad is for the laidback, modern bohemian. All the items are designed in the UAE with a little Australian heritage thrown in. She has some really beautiful pieces in super-cute prints. www.kate-chad.com

Daughters of India

Feminine and beautifully timeless pieces created by artisans in India. They are all ethically made by hand. Be careful though because one you buy one you won’t be able to stop!
