Onyx FC is the first fully female owned football club in the UAE and is the first club to provide football for females at all levels, from the youth programme to the women’s game. Founded 2021 by four women from the UK and the UAE, who are based in Dubai, the club has grown with the introduction of a girls’ academy in 2022 to support girls to get into football.
Going from strength to strength, and want to encourage women of all abilities to give it a go. Their hugely popular Monday social sessions are AED 30 per person with no commitment, attracting many of Dubai’s busy women each week. From mums, university students, and busy professionals to those looking to get fit, there are a whole host of over 100 women who play in Onyx FC’s social training.
