Poet night

The Emirates Airline Literature Festival will take place from February 1-6, 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The festival, which will be held at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City and Mohammed bin Rashid Library, will feature a number of Emirati writers, speakers, creators, and emerging talents.

The festival will offer sessions in both Arabic and English, covering a range of topics including the publishing industry, culture and folklore, literature, sustainability, and more. Prominent speakers at the festival will include HH Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, HE Mohamed Ahmed Al Murr, and HE Omar Saif Ghobash. A session featuring Julia Wheeler and HH Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum discussing Latifa's recently published book "Through My Eyes" is not to be missed. The festival will also celebrate the launch of the book "Feeding the Soul," which features recipes from the inmates of Dubai's penal and correctional institutions. The festival will allow attendees to learn from and engage with Emirati and global writers and thinkers.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Festival is a vital part of the Emirates Literature Foundation, which was established in 2013 by Royal Decree. In partnership with Emirates Airline and The Dubai Culture (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated authority for heritage, arts, and culture, the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature will be back in 2023.
