Disney+ has launched a new app in the UAE, and the changes are practical. Existing customers will be prompted to download it and sign in with their current details.
For families, the headline is Junior Mode, a simplified space where younger viewers see only shows and films suited to them. It sits alongside existing controls such as profile PINs and content ratings.
Frequent flyers get something too. Subscribers can use Disney+ when travelling, across supported markets in Europe, the United States and beyond. The app also offers up to 25 audio and subtitle languages and recommendations based on what you watch.
As for what to watch, the line-up includes new seasons of The Kardashians, Grey’s Anatomy and The Simpsons, with Marvel’s VisionQuest and the live-action Moana to come and Korean drama The Remarried Empress arriving on 4 November.
Disney+ costs from AED 49.99 a month, and you can cancel anytime.
