Beauty Products We Loved this Year

We tried a lot of beauty products in 2021. Yes, we even experimented with lipstick again! From new favourites to things we loved all year long, here are beauty products our team couldn’t get enough of this year.

Byredo Mixed Emotions Eau de Parfum

We’ve been loving Byredo’s new fragrance, Mixed Emotions. A woody aromatic fragrance for women and men, this new fragrance saw us through the whole year well and better still it lasts most of the day too. Can Byredo do no wrong?

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment

Having to pick just one product from Sunday Riley we loved this year was tough as honestly we’re big fans and used a number of them every day. But it just had to be Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment as the results are quick and dramatic. Good Genes instantly plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles in 3 minutes and honestly, it does. When we need a pick me up – this is it.

Monday Haircare

What would 2021 have been without the iconic pink shampoo and conditioner bottles we saw everywhere from Monday Haircare? With nasty free and plant extract packed ingredients, Monday gave us much more than an instagramable shower shot, but smooth, soft hair too and at a great price for the quality too.

Dior Backstage Foundation

Moving away from some of our traditional favourites, we came across Dior Backstage this year and it’s now a beauty bag staple with its high coverage, ultra- buildable formulations and the resulting natural glow.

Rodial SPF 50 Drops

Rodial continues to innovate and build its range of drops and these new drops protect skin from harmful UVA and UVB radiation with this lightweight SPF50 serum while blue light filter technology works to shield skin from collagen degeneration and loss of elasticity. Quickly apply as your final skincare step before make-up. SPF is one of the best things you can add to your regime, remember!

Filorga NCTF-Reverse

Another brand that can do little wrong in our eyes is the French pharma brand Filorga. It performs way above many of its far more expensive counterparts, improves skin quality, and reduces signs of anti-ageing massively. The NCRF range was new in our region this year and it’s filled with Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol and lots more. Super hydrating and our skin never looked better.

Augustinus Bader The Face Oil

We know that AB products are a bit of a splurge, but sometimes you need a treat. The gorgeous blue and copper packaging gets us every time and it was happy news when the brand reformulated into new clean ones that are vegan and nasty free. The Face Oil is a new favourite for us and we do swear by oils in our regimes. This oil melts into the skin and nourishes, hydrates, refines and protects.

Rossano Ferretti Prodigio Regenerating Treatment

Rossano Ferretti is all about quality and only accept the best, so we look forward to his launches. This pre-wash hair treatment looks like an expensive face cream and would not look out of place on your dressing table either, but it’s a pre-wash mask that stays on 5-10 minutes on damp hair before shampoo and conditioner. You don’t need much, so it will last a long time and keep your hair happy all year long.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

We’ve tried a lot of concealers to hide our tired eyes, but this one never fails us and so for the 3rd year running it’s one of our beauty must-haves. It beats many more expensive options. There’s little more to say apart from it’s brilliant – and if you didn’t already, try it!

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek

This chubby little two-in-one stick of blush and lip colour sits on our desk and is a perfect pick me up as you run into a meeting. It’s super hydrating and smells delicious – a real little gem.

Carbon Theory Cleansing Water

Packed with skin loving ingredients, this UK brand is creating waves for all the right reasons. This latest launch is much much more than a simple cleansing water.

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder

A setting powder is a staple for us all in our climate and Huda launched a brilliant one this year with her Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Power – we like the shade Pound Cake.
